Domaine Henri Boillot’s Meursault is a Chardonnay white from the Côte de Beaune, rooted in clay-limestone soils. Maturation in oak barrels larger than the traditional Burgundian pièce forms part of the estate’s approach. In his white wines, Henri Boillot seeks precision, energy and freshness through close attention to picking time and the wine’s development in the cellar. This cuvée belongs to the village level of the appellation, offering an interpretation of Meursault in which grape variety, soil and maturation all contribute to the finished wine’s identity.
