Description

Clos de la Mouchère is an enclosed vineyard of approximately four hectares within the Premier Cru Les Perrières, owned entirely by Henri Boillot. Its name recalls an old Burgundian word for a bee, preserving a small trace of the site's agricultural history. Chardonnay grows here in clay and limestone soils, in one of the domaine's defining vineyards. Winemaking and oak maturation form part of the family's pursuit of precision and authenticity at its Meursault cellar. The monopole brings every stage, from cultivation to bottling, under the responsibility of a single estate.
