Description

Abrupts 2022 from Henri Chauvet is a red wine from the Côtes d'Auvergne (Boudes), made entirely from Gamay. The vineyards sit on volcanic soils of basalt and blue marl, and the wine is produced with a low-intervention approach. Aromas of red and dark fruit are complemented by floral and subtle earthy notes; the palate is juicy with lively acidity and soft tannins. The finish is persistent, with lingering fruit and light spice.
