Description

Henri Giraud’s Blanc de Craie is a Blanc de Blancs (non-vintage Brut) from the house in Aÿ. It is made entirely from Chardonnay sourced from Grand Cru terroirs, including fruit from Aÿ and parcels in the Montagne de Reims; part of the blend is vinified and aged in oak with use of reserve wines to add complexity. The cuvée’s name refers to the chalky soils of the vineyards and focuses on the mineral clarity typical of the terroir-driven Chardonnay.
