Henrietā€‘Bazinā€™s Grand Cru Extra Brut ā€œRomanceā€ 2012 is a vintage Champagne from the Montagne de Reims. The cuvĆ©e is reported to be roughly 70% Pinot Noir and 30% Chardonnay, sourced from the Verzy, Verzenay and Villersā€‘Marmery parcels, with an estimated dosage of about 4 g/L. After extended bottle ageing it shows a vinous texture, fine mousse and mature notes of brioche and dried nuts. The wine emphasizes the Pinot Noir component within a Grand Cru expression.
