Description

The 2013 Keyneton Euphonium from Henschke is a red blend sourced from the Barossa and Eden Valleys, led by Syrah with Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc. Aromas of blackberry and plum are complemented by herbal notes and spice, with cedar influence from oak ageing. On the palate it shows richness and balanced structure, fine-grained tannins and long persistence; it was matured 18 months in hogsheads (15% new).
