Domaine Hubert Lignier’s Morey-Saint-Denis 1er Cru “La Riotte” is a red wine from the Côte de Nuits made from 100% Pinot Noir. The parcel, planted in 1959 at the foot of Clos Saint-Denis, sits on a clay-limestone, stony soil. The cuvée is generous and open, with red-fruit expression and good drinkability in its youth; it is best drunk within about ten years of the vintage.
