Hudelot-Noëllat's Clos de Vougeot Grand Cru is a Pinot Noir from an east-facing parcel on clay-limestone soils. Founded by Alain Hudelot in 1962, the estate links its work to the identity of individual Côte de Nuits climats. The grapes are harvested and sorted by hand, then partially destemmed. Fermentation uses indigenous yeasts and includes cap punching; the wine matures in oak barrels and is bottled without fining or filtration. Its general profile combines finesse and structure, retaining a substantial presence and the ability to develop over time.
