Description
Hudelot-Noëllat Vougeot Premier Cru Les Petits Vougeot comes from Pinot Noir grown in an east-facing parcel on clay-limestone soils. Harvesting and grape selection are carried out by hand, followed by partial destemming. Fermentation uses indigenous yeasts and is accompanied by punching down; maturation then continues in oak barrels. No fining or filtration is carried out before bottling. This interpretation of the cru emphasises freshness, a mineral character and an elegant expression, while retaining a recognisable connection with its origin in Vougeot.
