Hudelot-Noëllat Vosne-Romanée Premier Cru Les Beaumonts comes from two east-facing Pinot Noir parcels on clay-limestone soils. The grapes are harvested and sorted by hand, then partially destemmed. Fermentation begins with indigenous yeasts and includes punching down to support extraction from the skins. Maturation takes place in oak barrels, and the wine is bottled without fining or filtration. The cru’s profile is defined by a mineral character and powerful structure, two central features of the estate’s interpretation of this Vosne-Romanée Premier Cru.
