Description

I Clivi’s Cabernet Franc offers a single-variety interpretation of this grape in eastern Friuli. The estate was established in the 1990s by Ferdinando Zanusso, joined by his son Mario in managing the vineyards and winemaking. Organic cultivation, manual harvesting and restricted yields form part of the estate’s approach. The wine combines suggestions of strawberry, raspberry, blueberry and currant with nuances of violet and herbs. On the palate it remains delicate and fresh, with a saline finish accompanying the fruity character of Cabernet Franc.
