Madonna delle Grazie is Il Marroneto’s Brunello selection from the historic vineyard beside the small thirteenth-century church that gives it its name. Sangiovese grows on marine sands mixed with minerals. Spontaneous fermentation takes place in oak vats without selected yeasts or temperature control, with pump-overs during maceration. Extended maturation in large casks aims to preserve grape aromas while limiting the imprint of wood. The wine combines Sangiovese’s fruity character with substance and complexity, expressing a precisely defined vineyard origin through the estate’s traditional approach to winemaking.
