Description

Il Marroneto Rosso di Montalcino Ignaccio is a Rosso di Montalcino DOC made from 100% Sangiovese. Fermentation takes place spontaneously in oak vats with extended maceration, followed by roughly 18 months of ageing in oak casks and further bottle maturation. The wine shows a youthful, fresh profile with fruity aromas, lively acidity and clearly defined tannins. It is a versatile red that pairs well with traditional Tuscan dishes.
