Il Marroneto’s Rosso di Montalcino Selezione Iacopo is a D.O.C. red from Montalcino made from 100% Sangiovese. Created as a personal selection by Iacopo Mori, it aims to combine the complexity associated with Brunello with the freshness and drinkability of a Rosso. Fermentation takes place in large oak vats and the wine is matured for approximately 20 months in oak casks, followed by bottle ageing. The fruit comes from the estate’s vineyards planted on sandy, mineral-rich soils around Montalcino.
