Description
The Reserve rosé from J. Charpentier is a cuvée from the Champagne appellation produced in the Vallée de la Marne. It is a non-vintage blend dominated by Pinot Meunier with a portion of Pinot Noir (producer-stated composition approximately 80/20), produced by adding a small percentage of red wine to the base and aged on the lees in temperature-controlled vats. In the glass it displays a bright salmon hue with fine bubbles, aromas of red fruit and floral notes, and a full, rounded palate.
