The 2023 Rosso di Montalcino from J. G. Benda is a Sangiovese-based red from the Montalcino area in Siena province. Fruit comes from small, high-elevation plots and the wine was matured roughly 12 months in large oak casks and smaller barrels, showing ripe red fruit and floral nuances. Balanced freshness and silky tannins give it structure that pairs well with red meat and traditional Tuscan dishes.
