Chemin de Châlons represents Cramant in Jacques Selosse's Lieux-Dits collection: a Chardonnay Blanc de Blancs focused on a single site in the Côte des Blancs. It belongs to the family's exploration of six vineyards, conceived to reveal the differences between villages and individual parcels. A perpetual reserve brings successive harvests together, reducing the influence of any one vintage and placing greater emphasis on the site itself. Barrel work and patient cellar maturation reflect a winemaking approach centred on the substance of the grapes and the individuality of their place of origin.
