Description

Jacques Selosse’s Initial is a Chardonnay Blanc de Blancs Champagne from the Grand Crus of Avize, Oger and Cramant. The blend combines three consecutive harvests, using grapes mainly from the lower parts of the slopes. Vinification in wood and time on the fine lees are part of the approach developed by Anselme Selosse, shaped by close attention to the vineyard and his training in Burgundy. Extended bottle maturation precedes disgorgement and restrained dosage. The cuvée thus connects three Côte des Blancs villages and different expressions of the harvest.
