Description

Les Carelles is the Blanc de Blancs through which Jacques Selosse interprets a single parcel in Le Mesnil-sur-Oger. This notably stony vineyard has fractured chalk that allows roots to penetrate deeply. It joined the family's holdings in 2002 and became one of the six sites in the Lieux-Dits collection. Chardonnay is expressed through a perpetual reserve of successive harvests, intended to reveal the site's character beyond individual growing seasons. The importer's presentation emphasises a dry, incisive structure supported by a pronounced chalky, mineral dimension, giving this wine a clearly defined identity within the range.
