Substance Blanc de Blancs Extra Brut Grand Cru from Jacques Selosse is a blanc de blancs Champagne made exclusively from Chardonnay grown in Grand Cru sites of the Côte des Blancs, notably Avize. It shows fine bubbles, a substantial structure and aromas ranging from citrus and yellow fruit to pronounced mineral notes derived from chalky soils. The extra‑brut dosage lends precision and dryness, the color may develop golden hues with age, and the cuvée is typically released as a non‑vintage (NV).
