Description

Jacquesson’s Dizy Corne Bautray 2005 comes from one hectare of Chardonnay planted in 1960. The vineyard occupies the upper part of a southwest-facing slope, on clay rich in meulière stones above Campanian chalk. The 2005 season began with a cold, dry winter followed by a mild spring; after a hot, humid summer, favourable conditions arrived towards the end of the season. Picking took place on 22 September. The cuvée keeps this precise origin separate, bringing the character of the site together with the identity of a single harvest.
