Description

The 2012 Jaffelin Chambolle-Musigny is a village Burgundy made from 100% Pinot Noir. Vinification includes roughly three weeks of maceration with 20–30% whole clusters and an élevage of about 16–18 months in French oak barrels, approximately 40% new. The bouquet shows red and black fruit with a fresh character typical of the appellation; on the palate it is structured yet refined, finishing with subtle toasty and mocha notes. Pairs well with richly flavored red meats and mature cheeses.
