Description
Jean Chartron's Bourgogne Cuvée Eugénie Dupard is a Chardonnay from clay-limestone soils. The name recalls Eugénie Dupard, the founder's daughter, who brought vineyards as her dowry when she married Jean-Edmond Chartron, joining the two families. Fermentation takes place in previously used oak barrels between one and five years old. The wine matures on its fine lees for approximately eight months in wood, followed by around three months in tank. This regional cuvée therefore connects a defined cellar process with the family history of the Puligny-Montrachet estate.
