Description
Jean Chartron's Murgers des Dents de Chien is a Saint-Aubin Premier Cru made from Chardonnay on clay-limestone soils. The estate's parcel covers approximately half a hectare and was planted in 1994. The juice ferments in new and previously used oak barrels. Maturation continues on the fine lees for around twelve months in wood, followed by approximately four months in tank. The climat name identifies the precise origin of this Saint-Aubin cuvée within the white-wine production of the Chartron family, historically established in neighbouring Puligny-Montrachet.
