Description

Jean Chartron's Saint-Aubin Premier Cru Perrières is made from Chardonnay grown on clay-limestone soils. The estate's vines in the Les Perrières climat cover just under thirty ares and were planted in 2003. In the cellar, fermentation takes place in new and previously used oak barrels. The wine remains on its fine lees for around twelve months in wood before approximately four further months in tank. The cuvée combines a specific Saint-Aubin origin with the estate's approach to white winemaking, rooted in its home village of Puligny-Montrachet.
