Description

The 2023 Fixin from Jean Fournier is a red wine from the Fixin AOC produced by Domaine Jean Fournier in the northern Côte de Nuits. It comes from the Les Petits Crais climat and is made from 100% Pinot Noir grown under organic agriculture and hand-harvested. Vinification uses a portion of whole clusters and the wine is aged in wood for about 12 months to temper the tannins. The wine shows a distinctly terroir-driven character, with firm tannins and the structure typical of the marl soils of the climat.
