Description

Jean-Marc Millot's Vosne-Romanée combines Les Hautes Maizières and Les Violettes, two parcels close to renowned vineyards of the Côte de Nuits. Old Pinot Noir vines grow in clay-limestone soils, with the fruit harvested manually and destemmed before vinification. A cold maceration precedes fermentation, while maturation takes place in oak. The domaine emphasises silky tannins and a floral expression that includes violet. This village wine connects the character of its two vineyard origins, offering a detailed introduction to the estate's work in Vosne and its capacity for development in bottle.
