Description

Les Suchots occupies a distinctive position in Vosne-Romanée, between Échezeaux and Romanée-Saint-Vivant and below Les Beaux-Monts and Aux Brûlées. Jean-Marc Millot interprets it through Pinot Noir grown on clay-limestone soils. The grapes are picked manually, then destemmed and cold-macerated before fermentation and maturation in oak barrels. The producer describes a velvet-textured red focused on red fruit and fine tannins, with marked persistence. The character of the climat emerges through a combination of delicacy and depth, supported by the family's precise work both in the vineyard and in the cellar.
