Description

Jérémie Huchet's Clos Les Montys is a Muscadet Sèvre et Maine Sur Lie made from Melon de Bourgogne. The vineyard overlooks the Goulaine marshes and has an amphibolite and metagabbro substratum, green rocks rich in ferromagnesian elements. The soils combine sandy, clay-rich and stony components. Hand harvesting precedes pneumatic pressing, after which the wine remains on its lees. Its profile brings white flowers such as acacia and linden together with citrus suggestions and a rounded texture. The cuvée links structure and mineral character to a site Huchet acquired in 2001.
