Description
Flower Power 2023 combines Gamay from Beaujolais with Pinot Noir from Clos Vallotte in Chassey-le-Camp, in the Hautes-Côtes de Beaune. For this vintage, Jérémy Carteret uses 60% Gamay and 40% Pinot Noir, a specific composition that distinguishes the 2023 version. Fermentation takes place with whole clusters, initiated by an indigenous-yeast starter. Vertical pressing occurs before all the sugars have been consumed, while maturation takes place in barrels. The cuvée brings together two origins through a restrained cellar approach, with sulphur dioxide added only when considered necessary during its development.
