Description

Jermann’s Afix Riesling is a Venezia Giulia IGT white made from Riesling. The west-facing vineyards grow on Eocene marl and sandstone belonging to the flysch formation. Some of the grapes are vinified on their skins; the wine then matures on the lees in stainless steel and rests in bottle. Its colour is bright straw yellow with green reflections. The aromatic profile is fruity, intense and persistent, while the palate combines freshness and softness. The balance between texture and liveliness characterises this Friulian interpretation of the grape variety.
