La Closerie Grand Cru combines Chardonnay from Le Mesnil-sur-Oger with Pinot Noir from Puisieulx, connecting the Côte des Blancs and the Montagne de Reims. It is distinct from Jérôme Prévost's Meunier selections and grew through collaboration with growers who share his attention to cultivation, yields and full grape maturity. Choosing the harvest date forms part of this joint work. The blend focuses on the complementary character of the two places, maintaining an understanding of Champagne closely connected to the substance of the wine and the precision of its origins before considering the dimension provided by effervescence.
