From Jessica Litaud in Vergisson, this Pouilly-Fuissé 1er Cru “La Maréchaude” is made from Chardonnay grown on a small Premier Cru parcel in the Mâconnais. Vineyard work follows natural/low-intervention principles (minimal synthetic inputs, manual/mechanical work) with moves toward organic conversion and restrained cellar handling. On the palate it presents a dry, sapid profile with fruity and floral hints and a mineral thread that supports the wine’s structure.
