Description

Joseph Perrier’s Cuvée Royale Brut Nature combines Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Meunier, with Chardonnay predominating. The project grew from a collaboration between Benjamin Fourmon and Nathalie Laplaige and is completed without dosage sugar. The blend includes several crus and a proportion of reserve wines, followed by an extended stay in the house’s cellars. Its golden colour accompanies a fine mousse. Rose, peony and spices appear on the nose; the palate is lively, with apple, pear, peach and nectarine. A peppery suggestion characterises the final part of the wine.
