Description
Klein Constantia’s Vin de Constance 2022 is a sweet wine from Muscat de Frontignan grown in Constantia, in the Western Cape. Harvesting takes place in successive passes, with batches handled separately and fermentation stopping naturally. Maturation comprises eighteen months in French, Hungarian and Austrian oak barrels, followed by twenty months in large foudres. The estate’s description brings together apricot, quince and dried pineapple, with elderflower and spice. On the palate, fruit meets a saline impression and a lingering finish that extends the wine’s aromatic detail.
