Description
Krug Grande Cuvée 163ème Édition is built around the 2007 harvest and brings together 145 wines from twelve years, spanning 1990 to 2007. Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Meunier contribute in broadly similar proportions, while reserve wines account for 27% of the blend. The cuvée thus expresses the idea of Champagne composed across different harvests. Its profile includes flowers, citrus and ripe fruit, with suggestions of marzipan and gingerbread. Hazelnut, brioche and honey follow through on the palate, accompanied by a fine, lively stream of bubbles.
