Krug Grande Cuvée 171ème Édition brings together 131 wines from twelve years, ranging from 2000 to 2015, with the latter harvest at the centre of the composition. Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Meunier are complemented by a substantial proportion of reserve wines, accounting for 42%. The blend seeks a balance of generosity, structure and tension by drawing on harvests with differing characteristics. Pale gold in the glass, it has fine bubbles. Flowers, citrus, dried fruit, marzipan and gingerbread shape its aromatic profile, followed by quince, lemon and toasted nuances on the palate.
