Description

Krug Collection begins with a small number of Krug Vintage bottles retained in the house's own cellars. Additional time allows the wine to develop new facets, greater depth and a different expression of its structure. The cellar master and tasting committee follow its evolution until they recognise the right moment for a new presentation. Collection therefore preserves the identity of the original harvest, enriched by this further period of maturation. It places the effect of time on Champagne at its centre, exploring the relationship between a wine's initial character and the complexity it acquires.
