The Kumeu River Hunting Hill Chardonnay 2022 is a single-vineyard Chardonnay from Kumeu in the Auckland region of New Zealand. It offers peach and citrus aromas with floral hints and a fine mineral thread reflecting the vineyard’s clay-over-sandstone soils. Barrel fermentation followed by roughly 11 months in French oak (about 25% new) provides texture and length on the palate.
