Description

La Calcinara’s Conero Riserva “Folle” 2019 is a Conero Riserva DOCG red made from 100% Montepulciano. Sourced from the Calcinara single-vineyard near Candia (Ancona) on clay and gypsum soils, the estate practices certified organic farming. The wine undergoes extended maceration and approximately two years of ageing (part in cement, part in large Austrian oak), showing a complex, spicy nose with undergrowth and cocoa hints, and a full-bodied palate with firm tannins and mineral sapidity.
