Description

Fac-Simile Rosé from La Closerie is a rosé Champagne cuvée by Jérôme Prévost, produced mainly from a selection of Pinot Meunier in the Les Béguines parcel at Gueux, Petite Montagne de Reims. The blend is roughly 87% Les Béguines base wine and 13% still red wine from the same plot; fermentation is spontaneous and the wine is aged ten months in 228‑L barrels. It is released as an Extra Brut (dosage 2–3 g/L) and made in very limited quantities (around three thousand bottles per year).
