Description

Carla 6 is a single-varietal red from La Massa made exclusively from fruit of vineyard No. 6 in Panzano in Chianti. The wine is intended to showcase site-specific Sangiovese grown on shale-and-sand soils, and it is vinified and matured in French oak. The 2018 vintage shows firm tannic structure and a mineral character that reflects its terroir. Bottled as Toscana IGT, it represents a single-plot Sangiovese expression from the estate.
