Description

Miani’s Calvari 1998 is a red wine made from Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso grown in the Calvari vineyard in the Colli Orientali del Friuli. Aromas of ripe dark fruit, sweet spice and earthy hints lead to a full-bodied palate with firm tannins and lively acidity. Barrel ageing in oak barriques adds texture and subtle vanilla nuances that complement the concentrated fruit. Produced in very small quantities, it is suitable for further cellaring.
