Description

A single-variety red made from Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso grapes grown in the small “La Mont di Zuc” vineyard in the Colli Orientali del Friuli. Aromas of blackberry, plum and underbrush open the bouquet, accompanied by subtle spice and herbal notes. On the palate it is full-bodied and structured, supported by ripe, present tannins and sustained length. Maturation in used barriques for roughly 24 months adds softness and gentle toasted-spice nuances.
