Description
Casa Rossa is Miani’s interpretation of Sauvignon, made by Enzo Pontoni’s estate in Buttrio, within the Friuli Colli Orientali. Guyot-trained vines grow in ponca soils and are cultivated using organic practices. The grapes are harvested by hand. Cellar work includes fermentation in French oak and a maturation sequence moving from wood to stainless steel, followed by bottle ageing. This wine belongs to the estate’s pursuit of concentration and balance, supported in the vineyards by rigorous pruning and careful restriction of the crop carried by each vine.
