Description

Saurint is one of the dedicated Sauvignon Blanc interpretations within Miani's small production in the Colli Orientali del Friuli. It reflects Enzo Pontoni's intensive vineyard work and rigorous selection, from harvesting through to deciding which barrels will be bottled. Grapes are picked by hand; fermentation in French oak is followed by maturation involving wood, stainless steel and bottle. Presenting separate selections reflects the intention to highlight differences in origin. Saurint belongs to this exploration within a range where concentration and balance remain central, offering a distinct expression of Sauvignon rather than an interchangeable estate white.
