Description

The 2023 Piastraia by Michele Satta is a Bolgheri Rosso Superiore DOC from the Bolgheri area in Tuscany. The declared blend for this vintage is Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Sangiovese; the varieties are fermented separately using indigenous yeasts. The wine is aged 12–18 months in barriques (approximately 40% new oak) and is indicated to have aging potential up to 20 years. It is presented as a structured and elegant expression of the Bolgheri terroir.
