Description
Giovin Re is a white wine from Michele Satta, released as Toscana IGT and produced from Viognier grown in the estate’s Bolgheri vineyards. Harvest is carried out in two passes and the wine is fermented and aged in a mix of barriques, amphorae and concrete, resting until January without undergoing malolactic fermentation. Aromatically it shows floral and stone-fruit notes; on the palate it offers medium body, a rounded texture, lively acidity and a chalky mineral finish. The wine aims to highlight the aromatic intensity of Viognier in the Mediterranean Bolgheri setting.
