Description

Monsignore is an Alta Langa Extra Brut connected with the Vicoforte estate, a former summer residence of the Bishop of Mondovì from which it takes its name. The project brings together Giuseppe Blengini and Roberta Ceretto and uses Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. The grapes are vinified separately, with fermentation in old oak casks; bottle fermentation and subsequent lees ageing follow the traditional method. Its profile combines fine bubbles, freshness and a creamy texture. The label featuring a Spartan helmet, created by Francesco Clemente, reflects the owners’ interest in art.
