Description
Monte Dall’Ora’s “Stropa” Amarone della Valpolicella Classico 2016 is produced from vineyards on the Castelrotto hill in the Valpolicella Classica. The wine is made from native varieties — primarily Corvina (50%), Corvinone (20%), Rondinella (20%) with Molinara, Croatina and Dindarella (10%) — whose grapes are dried in a fruttaio for about three months. After fermentation it is aged roughly four years in 25‑hl oak casks and then rested in bottle for a minimum of 36 months before release. The vineyards are farmed using organic and biodynamic practices.
